As Aventa grows, we are looking to bring on a Delivery & Growth Lead to support and lead delivery across client engagements, while helping shape the next phase of the business.
About the role
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working across varied problems and is comfortable operating with autonomy and trust.
The role is intentionally broad and will be shaped around the successful candidate’s experience. Depending on level, you may focus primarily on delivery or take on broader responsibility across client leadership, workstream ownership, and business growth.
This role suits someone who values quality, clear thinking, and practical execution, and who enjoys contributing to a growing, founder-led business.
What you’ll be doing
Client delivery:
Work across a range of consulting and advisory engagements, helping turn complex problems into clear, practical outcomes.
Analyse and synthesise information to develop insights, recommendations, and deliverables that clients can actually use.
Draft and refine reports, frameworks, presentations, and other client-facing materials.
Act as a trusted point of contact for clients on defined pieces of work.
Help maintain a high bar for quality and consistency across Aventa’s work.
Project and delivery support:
Coordinate inputs and outputs across concurrent workstreams and engagements.
Keep delivery moving by tracking actions, priorities, and dependencies.
Support preparation for client meetings and follow-ups to ensure momentum is maintained.
Business contribution:
Contribute to business development through strong client relationships, insight-led conversations, and high-quality delivery.
Support the development of proposals, presentations, and responses to opportunities.
Identify opportunities to extend or deepen client engagements where it makes sense to do so.
Contribute ideas and perspective on where Aventa should focus as the business grows.
Take increasing ownership for shaping opportunities and relationships.
About you
We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, thinks clearly in ambiguous situations, and cares deeply about doing good work. You’ll be comfortable balancing delivery with sound judgement, building trust with clients, and contributing to a small, growing business where how you work matters as much as what gets delivered.
Essential:
Experience in consulting, advisory, or complex operational environments.
Experience in mining, energy, infrastructure, or technology, with a strong understanding of how these industries operate in practice.
Ability to build and engage in meaningful professional relationships with operators, leaders, and partners.
Strong analytical and written communication skills.
Comfortable working with ambiguity and limited structure.
Pragmatic, organised, and delivery-focused.
Comfortable operating in senior stakeholder environments.
Desirable:
Background in engineering, operations, risk, strategy, or asset management.
Experience working in small teams or founder-led businesses.
Comfort identifying and progressing commercial opportunities through relationships and insight-led conversations.
