As Aventa grows, we are looking to bring on analysts to support current client engagements and contribute to the next phase of the business. These roles are fixed term through to 30 June 2026, aligned to funded client programs, with potential for extension depending on project continuation.

About the role

This is a hands-on analytical role within a small, high-trust team.

In the near term, you will support delivery across a major mining sector engagement involving structured review, analysis, and evidence-based work. This includes working with technical and operational information, building traceability across complex inputs, and contributing to clear, defensible outputs.

Beyond that, you may contribute across a range of advisory engagements including operational readiness, structured problem solving, and delivery coordination.

This role suits someone who values clarity over noise, ownership over hierarchy, and practical outcomes grounded in real analysis.

What you’ll be doing

Client delivery:

• Work across active engagements, supporting analysis, synthesis, and structured outputs.

• Review and interpret operational, technical, and governance documentation.

• Build clear frameworks and traceability across complex inputs.

• Develop clear, well-structured reports and presentations that communicate complex analysis to senior stakeholders.

• Maintain discipline in documentation, logic, and evidence.

Project and delivery support:

• Track actions and dependencies across concurrent workstreams.

• Help keep delivery organised and moving forward.

• Prepare structured materials to support meetings and workshops.

Business contribution:

• Contribute ideas and insight across engagements.

• Support proposal development and opportunity responses where relevant.

• Help strengthen internal tools, templates, and ways of working as Aventa grows.

About you

We’re looking for someone who thinks clearly, works methodically, and takes ownership of outcomes.

You’ll be comfortable operating in complex environments, working with senior stakeholders, and managing detail without losing sight of outcomes.

Essential:

• Experience in consulting, advisory, engineering, operations, risk, asset management, or similarly structured environments.

• Exposure to mining, energy, infrastructure, technology, or other operationally complex industries.

• Strong analytical and written communication skills.

• Comfortable working with data, documentation, and structured problem-solving.

• Pragmatic, organised, and delivery-focused.

• Comfortable working autonomously within a small, founder-led business.

Desirable:

• Experience in assurance, audit, or structured review environments.

• Experience working with operational risk, governance, or control-based systems.

• Background in engineering or technically complex industries.
